Baba Iqbal Singh Ji
Baba Iqbal Singh Ji, M.Sc. Agriculture, Retd. Director of Agriculture, Government of Himachal Pradesh, took over The Kalgidhar Society in 1965 after his mentor Sant Teja Singh passed away. After retiring in 1987, he operationalized the mission of combining modern education with faith to produce good global citizens. He started a one-room school in 1986 with five students, which today has grown into a chain of 129 Akal Academies and two full-fledged private universities, benefiting around 70,000 rural students.

ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਬੜੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਉਪਰ ਰੰਗਦਾਰ ਰੁਮਾਲੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਆਦਿ ਸਜਾਵਟ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਮਾਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਪਲੱਸਤਰ ਜਾਂ ਸੰਗਮਰਮਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ?
